2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Base, RoadTrek RSEM E-Trek. This Sprinter is in Excellent condition. This is the flagship of all RoadTrek Sprinter Vans. Lots of power, lots of room, and lots of options and upgrades. This is an all-electric camper van (there is no propane on board). The van is powered by 8-AMG batteries (for the cabin) with a separate starting battery (new). The Batteries are charged by a generator on the engine, 450 watts rooftop solar panel and by connecting to shore power. This van sleeps 4 with the custom-made folding beds and the king bed in the back. The 4 captain chairs swivel to allow the beds to span between them. The van comes with a hitch platform and a waterproof bag that the folding beds can travel in. 2-tables are included. Seatbelts for 7-passengers. The back bed transforms from a sofa and with a press of a button makes a King size bed. The large galley kitchen has a sink with hot and cold water, a filtered hot water dispenser, a refrigerator/freezer, induction cook top and a Microwave/convection oven. The Webasto Heater and Hot Water system works perfectly as well as the water pump. The bathroom includes a shower, flushing toilet, a small vanity sink and a custom Teak floor. 34-gal freshwater tank, 21-gal grey water tank and a 10-gal black water tank. The wastewater has a pump and a macerator to grind the solids at disposal. Brand new Michelin Cross Climate tires were just installed. They are mounted on Alcoa Aluminum Wheels. This van has dual wheels in the back that make for a comfortable and stable ride. The van has a powerful ceiling fan and an A/C unit. Bug screens are provided in both the back and side doors. An electric awning spans the length of the van. A power retractable step is provided at the sliding side door. There is a TV with a DVD player and surround sound speakers. You can also use the cable connection when you are at a park that provides it. There is also a roof top antenna for local stations if available. To operate some of the appliances the van is equipped with an electric inverter which produces 120-volt household current from the battery bank. All the lights in the cabin are LED. We also have a full winter cover for the van. We have enjoyed this van very much and have made many great memories. Unfortunately, our boys are heading off to college and we find that we are not using the van very much. We are sad to have to let it go, but glad in knowing that the next owner will enjoy the van life in it!
