Description

Overall, we have had a wonderful time with our Micro Minnie. Our Winnebago Micro Minnie was the first travel trailer we owned so we had a big learning curve. In the two years we owned the trailer, we traveled to national parks in Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California with our puppy, Rishi, camping and visiting with friends. Before we bought the micro Minnie, I watched a lot of Youtube videos by 2100bh owners to get ideas of what worked and didn’t work and for their DIY tips. Very helpful for setting up the trailer and what to buy such as the surge guard, levelers and anti-sway bars, fencing for the dog; how they set up storage inside the trailer and more. We added a new showerhead to the shower. We also added a mirror in the bathroom, towels racks and holders. The trailer is very attractive with European type cupboards which appealed to me; a really nice stove top, microwave and a large refrigerator, which is definitely a plus. This trailer also includes a small screen TV, dvd player etc. The sink is large and I set up an over the sink dish drainer which worked perfectly. Whenever we had wifi, we set up streaming while sitting in the dining pullout. The dining pullout is very comfortable with seating for 4 plus storage under the seats, as well as becoming a bed which sleeps two. It adds a lot of space to the trailer. The interior color is a light gray which helps reflect the lighting. There is also a lot of storage underneath the trailer which was perfect for storing camping gear, clothing, etc. We found the trailer to be a perfect size for the 2 of us plus the dog. It’s in excellent condition inside and out. We did remove the top bunk to make it more useable for adults. This can be reinstalled. We took 3 trips so I would say it’s a “lightly used” trailer. Having the option for gas v electrical has also been a benefit. We ended buying a small generator as a back up to the solar. We’ve had maintenance on the ac and water heater which turned out to be a blown fuse! On our last trip, we had to replace the battery. The retractable awning allowed for some cozy evening sitting in rain and sun. This particular model is the Explorer model so it has the heavy duty tires, insulation, etc. We camped twice in snowy conditions and were warm and cozy inside the trailer. We’ve included the following with the trailer: EZ lift Recurve sway control, surge guard, levelers, assorted electrical cords, and hoses. A new mattress (never been used) has been included.
