Description
Winnebago figured it out with this sweet little camper! It shines at the moderate boondock, with plenty of clearance and a torsion axle for bumpy forest service or desert roads. Lightweight at 3200 pounds dry weight! Not into boondock? You're in luck, this is a dream trailer for little campgrounds, and fits right in for full on plug and play large RV Parks or large developed campgrounds too. Hook up to water, power etc. and enjoy the amenities. A/C is oversized for this unit, bring on the summer heat! Generally, I camp in remote campgrounds with no power or water. My typical campouts have been 5 to 10 days, dirt biking, mountain biking and hiking. I bring an extra 10 gallons of potable water, for a total of 40 gallons, and that gets me past 7 days, even with a quick hot shower at the end of the day. Grey water tank fills up first, but with smart water use it can make it 7+ days without a dump. Black water tank can make it past a week easy with smart use. Two propane tanks last 14 days no problem, even with the furnace running. Speaking of furnace, the cold weather package on this camper with insulated water lines and hot water tank is choice. Pop out kitchen, with good sized Dometic fridge and a strong freezer. Table fits four adults for a card game and is a fine dinner prep counter. Microwave and convection oven good in a pinch with a boondock generator, or for more RV park based adventure (though I'm a pressure cooker, frying pan and campfire chef.) The bathroom is in the back and is large. Shower is small but not tiny. Camper is prewired for a full solar install. Wrap around bar cage on outside of camper is genius for add on racks and storage. The camper is perfect for two adults and a dream if you are rolling solo. This camper has been pavement and dirt road camp tested. It looks sharp and clean, with light wear showing in high use areas. I'm not thrilled about selling this gem, as its perfect for the use I described above which I enjoy, but its primary purpose was to hit the road to New Mexico and search for a piece of property to buy. We decided on Old Mexico instead for property. We already had a VW Vanagon Camper, and it was a toss-up what to keep, but the Van fits our lifestyle, and checks a few more boxes than this rad Winnie. We tried to pull off keeping both, but that's not in the cards. *Includes an adjustable Reese stability hitch and full cover.
