Having traveled only 37,900 miles this Kodiak 5500 Chevy Chassis with and Allison Transmission is almost brand new. Other than repairing an ABS sensor, there have been no mechanical issues with this chassis. The coach has recently been refurbished both inside and out. It is very comfortable! The modifications include new Toyo tires, new larger refrigerator, new larger microwave, added storage space under the queen bed, new carpeting, new vinyl waterproof planking, new barrel chairs with ottomans, new dining room table and two chairs, new storage cabinet, new bathroom sink, new bathroom mirror, new overhead bed, new queen bed, new powered awning with LED lights, new roof, new antenna, new range vent cover, new shower head, new valences, and some new curtains. You can camp for days without shore power. The hitch is heavy duty and can easily haul a car or boat. The hydraulic levelers allow you to level the coach while still in the driver's seat. The back-up montior gives you the opportunity to see what is behind you at all times. Both the driver and passenger seats are soft touch leather with 6-way powered adjustments.
