Description
***Sale Pending***Not using our awesome RV much anymore so time to let someone else have some adventures in it. This is the new F450 chassis with the new Ford 7.3 liter Godzilla V-8. Far superior to the old 6.8 V10. I've had two V10's and this new V8 Godzilla engine pulls the RV along much better, at a lower RPM (V10's like the scream especially uphill) and with a better gas mileage. Pictures show us averaging 8.7 mpg towing a dighy up and a over mountain pass.
Floor plan as shown in pics. For a shorter RV the interior opens up to be huge and spacious. We traveled with three border collies and always had lots of floor space espcially during cooking when they were right there waiting for food to drop. The bathroom is small but you have plenty of room around the toilet and you won't feel like you have a cabinet in your armpit. If you've sat on some RV toilets you know what I mean. We added a bidet to the toilet seat that is awesome, or if that's not your cleaning preference I am happy to remove it before the sale. The queen bed in back had a TV but it failed as they only put cheap ones in RV's. We covered over the recess with some artwork. Much better anyways. In the front cab all is stock except the stereo. This unit came with some old school slide out screen and Sirus tuner that was such a pain it was replaced the first week. We now have a nice large Boss touch screen. Much better.
Exterior has good storage with enough for all the essentials and then some. It has an exterior TV and radio. I started to remove some of the decals as I felt it was too flashy and busy. I added a three place bike rack on the back bumper. Under the hood has a rodent deterant system and a quick connect battery charger because we all love coming out to a dead RV battery right?!
We have stored this RV inside all of it's life. Comes with a fresh oil change and all the basic RV goodies such as hoses, power cords/adapters and black/grey water hoses.
Tires in great shape and since we stored it indoors should go for several more years. Dash has tire pressure readouts too. Super nice not having to try and get the pressures especially on the inboard rear dually tires. No accidents, dents, scratches, etc. Overall in excellent shape and we've done all the first year pain-in-the-butt fixes that is all too typical for RV's.
