Description
We bought this 2014 Flying Cloud 30fb Bunk Airstream brand-new in 2014 and have enjoyed traveling in it tremendously. It stands ready to hitch up and go camping this weekend. Title in hand.
Everyone loves a shiny aluminum Airstream, and honestly, we’d love to keep it. We’re selling because our kids are preparing to move to college soon, which means we’ll need to change the way we travel. (Also, we really need to turn our RV pad into a garage and workshop for our son’s new classic car obsession.)
Upgrades: We’ve replaced the smaller trailer tires with 16" rims and light truck tires (to lower the chance of a blow-out). We’ve installed 300 watts of Renogy solar on the roof and 2 US 125 batteries along with Rogue controller and display unit. All mattresses have been upgraded to memory foam that are less than 2 years old (if you’ve ever slept on an RV mattress, you know why). We’ve removed the bunk in the back to open up the back bed space. (Even though they were small, our boys found the bunk too cramped and ultimately unusable pretty quickly after purchasing the Airstream and preferred the open space.) We’ve adjusted the dinette to allow for more walking space by the door.
Extras: Included with the Airstream is an EAZ-Lift weight distribution hitch with sway bar, a pair of X-chocks for stabilizing (these are great), Andersen levelers (they make life way easier for getting level), and hoses for draining your tanks. We also have camping dishes, kitchen utensils, and silverware packed and ready if you’d like us to include those, too.
Other things to note:I have pointed out in one of the pictures a ding near the back awning bar which was caused by it a few weeks after getting it new. It is just a dent and not punctured. Also pictured are the dings on the rock guard. Nothing major there. Some scratches on the leather edge near the refrigerator. As mentioned above, the back bunk has been removed and the dinette has been adjusted for more space.
If you have any questions about any of this, feel free to ask.
