Description
We've put the last 30,000 miles on this van and have camped in it about 30 nights in the last 3 years, now has just under 165k miles. No expense has been spared to keep the van running and camping equipment working properly. Overall the interior is in very good condition for being 25 years old - the driver's and passenger's seats are very comfortable, and back seat / bed plus sleeping pad are in excellent condition. There is some normal wear and tear and aging of plastic interior items, but all is functioning and there are no broken items and cabinetry is very nice. The exterior is very straight and looks great - no dents or large scratches, but there are small dings, rock chips, scratches and a few isolated areas where surface oxidation is just starting to appear.A huge bonus are the Thule load bars which will accept a box, bikes, kayaks or whatever you want to throw up there. Buyer will get two sets of load bars (long and short), box not included. All camping equipment is working properly. fridge, stove, sink, rear sprayer all functioning correctly. However, the fridge is not very efficient and takes a very long time to cool down. We only used it when on shore power for more than 24 hours. We have not tested the heat in two years, but was working fine - we are not winter campers. Winning bidder gets all camping equipment including a brand new Manchester propane tank ($650) that I haven't installed yet.The pop top goes up and down easily - one patched spot on the back driver's side. Upper bunk and pads are in great shape - no issues up there. Awning is in great shape, works perfectlyNever driven in Northeastern winters (since I've owned it), and always garaged. Engine runs excellent - no indicators are on. GoWesty Bilstein lift kit ($1500) and upgraded wheels - rides and handles better than stock setup. Upgraded power inverter. Aftermarket Pioneer stereo and speakers with remote. Heat and AC work fine. Here is a list of recent repairs we've performed plus I have a folder of receipts back to 1998: - Transmission rebuilt at 144k miles (known issue with these vans) - so you are good to go for many, many miles. Both front axles replaced at the same time. - Catalytic converter replaced at 144k - Four new tires at 157k - New air pump and combi valve at 157k (to resolve check engine light) - New serpentine belt and tensioner at 164K - Brand new exhaust system at 164K- New deep cycle marine aux (house) battery summer of 2021
