Description
We purchased this 44 ft Toy Hauler last year. Will give you MY honest pros and cons too. Upgrades: 96% done painting the interior ( minor touch ups needed) Electrical upgrades (see video… reach out if need more info) Installed drip pan for washer/dryer combo Upgraded propane capacity to 180 lbs. (great for winter) Have another propane tank to possibly make it a 280 lbs. capacity. Ring security system including 3 cameras. ( cellular chip monitoring) Upgraded the back splash in the cooking area. 3 new high end tvs. (Smart tvs) Purchased all three memory foam mattresses. (currently being used) Cat and dog free zone. (Not an upgrade but still important to point out) Heated water line purchased to help prevent freeze. Living area and toy section have new window blinds. New A/C in main quarters.(We have the old unit in storage if you want it) Roof treatment was done last year June. ( 2 year rated) Extra long electrical lines purchased. Air compressor installed in under belly for emergencies. (30 pounds) RV tripod purchased to help keep stable. RV skirting material purchased and ready to be installed. Wheel locks to help keep RV stable purchased. Rhino liner purchased to coat deck at hand. Extra long sewer lines purchased. LED lighting installed in toy section with wifi control. Pros: Im 6’4 and the high ceiling are great. ( other RVs have super low ceilings) Both winters (15 below) and summers (102 degrees) were fine inside. Main shower has big tub and super roomy. Decks are great add on in space and really nice to use in summer. King size bed in main quarters is great for tall people. Full size refrigerator is a plus. Having two full baths is awesome. Many more pros just can’t list all. Cons: I’m old fashioned and like to eat as family on kitchen table ( like in a house). Unfortunately this can’t be done year round in toy hauler. In summer you could eat together as family on deck. In the winter we have to eat on laps or with a small fold away table. The shower and commode room in the toy section is a bit too crammed for my liking. Not being able to flush TP or wipes into the commode has been different. BUT that being said… its better for plumbing and better practice for homes anyway.
