Description

Added more photos of the condition of the bathroom. Added info based on inquiries, please read. Popular vintage model for Airstream restoration! Primarily available to see during evenings and on weekends. Welcome to inquiries/offers!

I owned since 2018. It is a project trailer! Are several things to fix/replace, so anyone purchasing it would need to be willing to invest in some repairs. Other than going to/from storage, it hasn’t been traveled in for years. I do not know the condition of the axles, wheels, tires and belly pan. Repaired: replaced the copper pipes with pex, put in new, vintage-looking faucets in kitchen, bath, shower, new gas/electric hot water heater, new converter and battery, new water pump, new gas/electric refrigerator. I have not used the gas lines. The former owner had used the gas. I always used the electric (30 amp), water, sewer hookups.

The bathroom is all functional, but old. The molded plastic would be nice to replace to spiff it up and to replace the toilet and bathroom floor at that time. It has a small single gray/black water holding tank. It needs to be hooked up to sewer. Is not designed for boondocking. It does have a 30 gallon fresh water tank.

Things on my list that I would want to repair include: fantastic fan (the original 1965 fan does not work), new ceiling air vent towards the front of the trailer (Doesn’t open) and a new AC at some point. The 1985 AC still works, but is old.

The wood is in wonderful shape. It is Honduran Mahogany veneer. The gaucho was turned into a full bed. Sleeps 2. Front sofa is missing a cushion to make a bed. I don’t think it pulls out with the carpet that was put in. No awning.

I have the original manual and hitch, but the brackets for the weight distribution bars are missing. A gentleman from St. Paul had purchased it in 1965 when he was 65 years old. His ham radio call sign placard is still on the trailer. It went on a few caravans. Each upper back corner has a dent. (Backing up must not have been his strong suit.) It weighs about 4000# dry. Cash only. As-is. Buyer responsible for pickup. Bring your tow vehicle! Located near Minneapolis, MN (in New Hope). Super-fun trailer! Continue the restoration journey and make it your own!
