Description

1985 AIRSTREAM EXCELLA - $59.000
The restoration was started on this about 13 years ago and the man I bought it from had
completely taken the inside out of the trailer, rewired (110) and re plumbed with pex, the entire
trailer. Also installed new aluminum throughout the inside of the trailer. He also installed
marine grade plywood floors and bamboo flooring on top of that. He installed a new toilet,
bathroom sink and the bulkheads between compartments out of cherry wood. Other items
include new refrigerator. Also new black water and hot water tank.
I bought the trailer 12 years ago and began a 3 three process of completion which included:
New furnace
New Stove top
Two new Fantastic Fans
New propane lines
New Microwave and convection oven
New Air Conditioner
Spring loaded lift for the underbed storage area, easy to pull up and down.
New cherry cabinets all throughout the trailer including solid cherry countertops in bath and
kitchen and table top
All new stability legs under the trailer
All lighting upgraded to LED
2 Flex Steel Chairs
LED decorative lighting.
Much trim work and aluminum tile in both bath and kitchen.
New Dexter Axles and brakes with 3 inch lift
New propride hitch
New interior shades
New trailer hitch welded to frame in back for bike rack and bike goes with trailer
New water pump and hot water heater was rebuilt last summer.
New tires installed in March of 2022
We have used the trailer for the past 8 years for one or two months per summer.
encountered a health issue and am unable to drive for a period. I am selling both the truck
and trailer and at 76 have enjoyed many years seeing America.
What the trailer needs to be 100%:
New large awning - it works and we used it often but is worn
Some work on window latches but all water tight and completely usable.
Inside door window trim could use a bit of work as well but again all works with no problem.
Steps could also use a little work but are usable
The trailer is located at Hoss's Airstream Repair, a service company in Rogers, Arkansas and
Hoss has maintained the trailer for us for the last 3 years or so and is totally capable of polish,
or any other alteration you might want.Hoss tells me he would use 75,000 as insurance
value or cost of replacing what is there.
Included extensive extras, including Honda 2000 generator
