SALE PENDDNG. 2016 Keystone Cougar Xlite 28SGS 5th Wheel in excellent condition. This unit is small on the outside, but very roomy inside. The opposing slides in the living area creates a very large and comfortable space. With a dry weight of just over 7,500 lbs and a hitch weight of 1,410 lbs, this RV can easily be towed by a 1/2 ton pick up. We towed it to Florida and back with a Toyota Tundra with no problems. The RV looks and operates like new. We replaced the roof air in 2021, the battery in 2021, and the tires in 2020. The tires are heavier duty than the originals and have less than 1,500 miles on them. We did not travel out of state for the past 2 years because of Covid. Improvements we have made include a shelf in the bedroom slide out closet (creating much more storage for clothes than the factory curtain rod), and the replacement of the dark brown curtains and brown/orange paisley window valances with much ligher tan tweed valances. This has brightened up the interior of the unit and gives it a more modern look. We have also added a second spare tire because often if you get one flat tire, the other tire on that side may also fail. We purchased the unit used in 2018 from Lee's Family Trailer in Windham. Lee's, and now Camping World has maintained and winterized the camper for us on an annual basis. They sealed the seams on the roof in 2021, and inspected the wheel bearings and brakes in 2020 (less than 1,000 miles ago). One of the best features is the automatic power leveling which makes setting up a breeze. This camper has never been smoked in and no pets have been inside. The only reason we are selling is because we adopted a large rescue dog last fall and want to take him camping with us. Thus, we will be buying a newer 5th wheel with a bunkhouse for the dog (and occasionally the grandkids). You will not be disappointed with the quality and condition of this camper.
