This RV is brand new. Bought from dealer on 4/28/21, and drove it to a seasonal campsite. It has 1600 miles on it. While using it on the weekends, a lakefront camp that we had been interested in for several years went up for sale. We are pursuing the camp so the RV has to go. Our 2017 Tiffin 32' Open Road was traded in on the 2021 36LA. Then longer wheelbase of the 36LA makes it handle like a dream against wind and 18 wheelers. This RV has the new Ford V8. When compared with the V10 in the 2017, in my opinion, there is little difference in horsepower, torque, and engine noise (which is negligible in the cab of a Tiffin). Mileage improved about 2 mpg. The 2017 was a great rig with nice features , but the 2021 is way more advanced. Here are some of the improvements that convinced us to buy the 36LA: More interior space, longer wheelbase, more economical engine, convection microwave, on-demand water heater with endless hot water, 1 1/2 bathrooms, macerator toilet, washer and dryer, master touchpad controller, fireplace, power drivers window, wind sensing awning retraction system, solar panel charging system, improved coach battery access, dropdown front bunk, TV soundbars, reclining chair, new condition and warantee.
