Description
After 25 years of building and remodeling residential homes, I've begun building these fun little travel trailers. This trailer weighs 1780 lbs, and needs a 2" ball hitch. It was built this year, on a new 2020 frame from Tractor Supply. Exterior roof is TPO Rv roofing, siding is shiplap pine with an oil sealer. Side storage boxes open to create table surfaces.
The camper sleeps 4. Inside there is room for 2 adults in the upper sleeping loft. Below the loft, a picnic table and benches can fold down to create 2 more adult sized sleeping areas. Comes with four 4" memory foam folding matresses.
Plenty of storage space under the lower bunks, under the counter, and in an open wall cabinet made from a reclaimed wooden crate. Also room under the counter for a small mini fridge or coolers.
A small bench folds up to reveal a new Alpcore camping toilet. Small toilet tank can be emptied into appropriate receptacle.
Very basic hook ups can supply electric and cold water to the interior. Sink can be fed from a hose to run the faucet, or from a lovely glass canister if there are no hook-ups. Simple 5 gallon drainage tank hooks up to sink, and can be placed inside or outside. Drainage tank can be carried and emptied by hand.
Hook-ups are extremely user friendly and simple! Just pass an extension cord and fresh water hose through the exterior ports. No lines to drain and winterize, nothing complicated to figure out!
Natural edged wood countertop is sealed with epoxy resin for waterproofing. Trailer does not have insulation or heat, or an interior shower. With an outdoor privacy tent, it is easy to hang a solar shower bag on the exterior of the trailer.
Two solar light bulbs provide evening light, and there is a battery powered reading light near each of the 4 sleeping bunks.
Curved rafters, natural wood, and accent windows make a beautiful space for your future travels!
