2014 Sprinter High Roof 2500V6 BlueTec Diesel
Purchased one year ago in Chicago IL, this was a HVAC/plumbers utility van, no windows, just raw shell of a van. Completely renovated, driven out to Colorado on one trip, to Montana on another. Rear of van left open for next owners choice, bikes, bed, kitchen, wired and ready for new iteration.
Interior:
- Completely insulated with 1” foil backed foam board on exterior skin, backfilled with 600 sq feet (3 large bags) of Havoc Natural Wool inside walls and ceiling, tucked into all the holes and crevices
- Installed interior skeleton to lay insulation, run electrical and affix all interior finished wood
- ¾” premium tongue and groove birch flooring for walls and floor
- Select shiplap pine milled locally (Cyr Lumber) used on the ceiling, white washed to lighten
- Baltic birch plywood used throughout, door panels whitewashed to match ceiling
- Back and side windows new and installed, side windows with screens and crank vents for airflow
- Clear crank ceiling fan installed new, fan operates off van power with adjustable fan speed
- Bench seat purchased/reclaimed from Sprinter van owner, new floor seat trays installed
- Custom table made of 5/4 birch hardwood, finished with tongue oil (Toward Nightfall of Fairfax VT for table)
- Custom drawers in Baltic birch with birch drawer fronts installed under seats for more storage
- Natural Wool carpet bound and custom cut to accommodate table base
- LED lighting in ceiling on switch, all GFI outlets wired and brought to junction point
- Roof Rack purchased new, installed with rear roller for ease of loading and unloading long items
- Rear backup camera install and wiring brought to front of van, not currently wired up
- Van wrapped in “Midnight Blue” last November, two year guarantee on installation
- New antenna, trailer hitch and LED daytime driving lights installed
- 40L electric fridge
- Jackery portable power source
- Four snow tires with less than 5k on them
- Custom bound natural wool carpet for front and piece for rear
