Description
1995 VW Eurovan Camper T4 (EVC). 5 cyl 2.5 liter, Automatic. If ad is up then it is still for sale. Trimmed out by Winnebago. We've owned it for about 4 years. Found it online in North Carolina and had it shipped up to Maine. Always stored in the winter. Mechanics marvel at how clean the underside is. Camper top is original but in good shape. It has never leaked. Looks like someone sewed a small spot near the rear part but it looks good (see picture) and again, never leaked. This one has an awning and I've kept it clean and dry as much as possible. There are no mildew stains on it and all the poles work and are basically in mint condition. I had the instrument cluster repaired by Modual Masters about 3ish years ago and it's warrantied for at least another year. So far everything works, speedo, tach, gas, heat and all the idiots lights. All lights work inside and out. Automatic runs and shifts great. I have had it flushed and a new filter installed every other year and it has never been a problem. The markings on the engine indicate the timing chain was replaced probably around 100,000. It's in a big stack of reciepts from the previous owner. I've had the exhaust basically replaced. The dealer we got it from did most of it and we had the CAT done. The O2 light still comes on every once in a while but either goes out or goes out afte you start up again. I'm not sure which sensor it is but have been told it doesn't effect performance. I replaced:
Heater Core and Blender door replaced in Oct 2020
LP gas regulator 2019
Norcold fridge: new burner, gasket and interrupter
Water pump for the camper side.
New batteries coach and chassis
Cut-off switch for coach battery (see picture)
New nozzle for rear water sprayer
LED lights (replace CFLs)
Floor mats
New struts for pop-top 2019
Rain deflectors on dr and pass windows 2020
Class II hitch, as far as I know it has never towed. We only used it for a bike rack only. It is not wired for a trailer.
Also has bug screens that fit all doors (the grey bag hanging in the closet). Came with it and are in mint condition.
There's probably other stuff and I've got everything I've taken off it like the rear wiper motor and wiper arm.
