Description
1998 Jayco Heritage Acadia Pop-Up Camper
I purchased this cutie pie last summer from a couple who had renovated the heck out of it. Sadly, after only 2 short camping trips, I broke my leg. Bad. Surgery. Hardware. 1.5 years recovery time! So this beauty has just been hanging out in its covered storage room, and it's the saddest thing. It's all dressed up with nowhere to go! For more of its history, here's what the previous owners said about it: "We bought it used and renovated it in the winter of 2016, but we only used it twice. We never had pets in it and are not smokers. We're Type A, so it's clean AF (note: me too, and same-same). SOME FEATURES: New electrical control panel/power inverter (this ensures that you have power to charge your phone, and other fancy shiz) New wench for canopy (this ensures the top doesn't fall down on your coconut) New curtains (not pictured; come see them!) Wheels with grease Zerks for easy maintenance (squirt, squirt) Cassette toilet and shower (works great; we'll even include the shower curtain for extreme privacy) Highly functional A/C and furnace (year-round use!) Hydraulic brakes have been converted to electric (this helps you to not be one of THOSE guys, barreling down a Colorado pass) Indoor/outdoor gas stove with three burners (gas line conveniently accessible from outside) 3-way refrigerator (kinky!) Lots of storage for munchies, pots, pans, etc. Sleeps 6, depending on your level of comfort with campmates (two king-sized beds plus kitchen table foldout). Includes full owner's manual and clean title (if you're the type who likes that sorta thing) Hot water heater (because cold showers suck)."
Since I bought it last year, I never used it with the full hook-ups so the toilet and shower are still brand spankin' new. It's a dream to pull, and super comfortable - a happy place!
I've pulled it out of storage and opened it up, all is well inside. No critters, still good as when we rolled it into storage.
Specs: Length 24'0\', Width 7'4", Dry weight 1988 lbs
IMPORTANT: Your vehicle's towing capacity should be rated for 3000-3500 lbs., minimum, to comfortably tow this camper. Additionally, you'll need wiring for electric brakes and a brake controller. Not expensive and any RV or u-haul-type place can put them in for you in a flash.
Cash only. Thanks for looking!
