Description
The short story is I got stuck with this in a divorce and no longer need anything this large.
I had the washer and dryer installed, and I upgraded the main TV to 4k. It does not have a mattress because I donated the one that came with it because it wasn't comfortable and put in a foam one, which I've moved inside. It takes an RV King. I plan on downsizing to much smaller RV, so I'm going to keep any third-party accessories I bought, such as the blocks, but anything that's specific to this RV will be included, such as the $500 cover. I don't normally let dealers upsell me on fancy coatings, but considering I planned on owning this much longer than a car, I thought it might be worth it in this case. I had the dealer do that on this one, so it should be less prone to sun and other exterior cosmetic damage over time.
I lived in this for a few months during my transition and worked out all the kinks. The only problems were minor leaks in an AC and in one of the fill pipes due to loose connections, and an awning arm that broke because I left accidentally left it open in rain, and it apparently got too heavy. They said that still shouldn't have happened, and they swamped it out with a brand new one.
Other than that, it's essentially brand new. There are a few cosmetic scratches, the worst of which being a light mark on one of the skirts where I clipped a green electrical box after getting forced into a tight turn. The inside is the same. I think the worst is a dog chewed away the straps for securing the chairs under the table while in transit. I tend to have that area packed with pillows and blankets and never used them anyway, but if there are any minor items like that that end up being deal-breakers, I'd be happy to explore working that out.
Everything major is in great shape; there are no leaks, all the appliances work perfectly, etc. This is a really nice RV, and other Grand Design owners I spoke with loved theirs as well. The automatic jacks are amazing and you won't regret going that route. I'm out and setup in minutes.
I priced this for my loan, so you're getting the equity and the extras like the washer/dryer and cover for free. I also have a 2018 Chevy 3500HD with a headache rack, large tool box, fifth-wheel hitch, and companion box (and short one near the tail gate that the hitch can go over). I'd part with both for $135k.
