Description
Looking to travel freely with your own space and amenities? This Ascend is the ideal solution! This unit comes with a mounted generator, two batteries, two LP tanks, and two spare tires. All systems work as if new. There is a toilet with sink bathroom, a separate shower/tub, and this area, along with the bedroom, can be closed off for privacy. The RV Queen bed has egress on both sides and large storage space underneath. The convection oven/microwave has never been used. Upgraded sink faucets and soap dispenser were installed. All mice accessible holes have been plugged with foam insulation. The water system, hot water heater, air conditioner, furnace and refrigerator all work as they should. The generator is a 3000-watt unit so it will power the air conditioner, if needed, and the trailer power cord with its adapter will plug directly into the generator. There is a nice Jensen stereo system has speakers inside and out, an outside shower and LP hook up for a barbecue. The back bumper was replaced with a very sturdy one to support a bicycle rack. The furnace is LP. Refrigerator and water heater run either 120 volts electric or LP. Batteries are charged by the vehicle as you are driving and can be charged with the generator or solar panels as well as shore power. The large awning is electrically powered open and closed. The trailer can easily be winterized and has a cover. The tires have their own covers as well. This trailer can be towed with a Ford Explorer type vehicle or ½ ton pick-up such as the Ford F150. Included is a Husky Bar type tow system that distributes the weight evenly across the tow vehicle’s and trailer’s chassis frames. The trailer has electric brakes. In the summer of 2018, the trailer’s wheel bearings were thoroughly lubed, and the brakes and their adjustments checked. Summer of 2020 all systems were checked and found to be working as they should. A new carbon monoxide/LP gas sensor was installed in March of 2020, replacing the original one as these sensing devices only last 5 years. There are two smoke detectors in the living areas. Also, we removed the map of the United States and Canada on the outside of the trailer, depicting where we have been, and replaced it with a new map, ready for you to record your own travels with included stickers. This unit was purchased new by us in 2015 and used about 6-8 weeks each year for 4 years. Due to open heart surgery last spring it has not been used since 2018.
