Description
We purchased this brand new, beautiful fifth wheel with the intention of traveling with it all over the country - we had a list of destination cities and all! We went full force on renovating and styling it to fit our modern, slightly bohemian style and were very happy with the outcome of our hard work.
However, we soon realized that we were possibly a bit too ambitious with our travel plans as we became the proud parents of a new baby. Now that we are excitedly building our family, we have decided that we’d love for our beloved fifth wheel to go to someone who will really get to use it in all of its glory.
RENOVATION DETAILS:
Here are some details about the renovation we did:
Primed and painted all of the cabinetry white (it was a dark espresso brown originally).
Added beautiful, durable stick-on tiling (white in the kitchen, “wood” grain near the back window, and bohemian-inspired mosaic in the bathroom).
Removed the dinette that consumed much of the main living space and replaced with a sleek, white corner desk which comfortably fits a large computer desktop or laptop and is equipped with a storage drawer.
Replaced mirrored closet doors with sleek curtains on an easy to maneuver rod - this allows for more closet space and an easier time opening/shutting the closet.
Removed less-than-stylish window coverings and replaced them with clean, white curtains (the blinds underneath remain for extra room darkening).
Removed the microwave and replaced with a large storage space and clean, built on cabinet door to match the others.
All cabinet hardware we painted black.
Brand new 32 inch TV never been used!
Added wicker baskets for stylish extra kitchen storage and Scandinavian-inspired wall hanging fruit baskets.
Added nice removable baskets for storage to the pantry space.
Strung “starry lights” near the ceiling for a cozy atmosphere in the main living space.
Installed a 50 amp hardware Surge Guard surge protector (Model 35550).
Outside fridge and sink.
Installed a Furrion Vison S backup camera system with a 5 in. monitor display.
Upgraded, much more comfortable (but still lightweight) queen mattress.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
The oven was never used (Furrion 2 in 1 Range Oven) and the stove was only used very lightly.
Air conditioning and heating both work amazingly! The space is extremely comfortable and the fireplace is wonderful for extra cozy-ness and heat if preferred.
The fifth wheel is pre-wired for solar use as well.
All manuals are included.
