Description
Reluctantly selling XLNT low mi '08 Winnebago View 24H due to illness.
- Mercedes Sprinter 3500 mfrd in Belgium. Winnebago badged chassis Dodge RAM '08-09, Mercedes after that. Same stellar M-B hyperengineering.
- We chose 3.5L V6 gas engine over diesel to travel where diesel fuel/mechanics are scarce. Both engines have +/-'s. This rarer View has higher NADA value than comparable diesel.
- MPG varies by terrain, speed, load weight. We average 12-13, typical for a gas Sprinter mh this size. Diesels get higher mpg but are more complicated & $$$ to maintain. These '08 gas Views are hard to find in such xlnt cond.
- 24' fiberglass, sleeps up to 6. Slideout, cabover queen, sofa & dinette beds, full dry bath, great kitchen, premium cabinets, tons of storage. Amenities many RV's lack. Specs at https://library.rvusa.com/brochure/08ViewBrochure.pdf
- Nicknamed Skinnie Winnie by RVers due to compact size for all its features. Agile city handling, ideal for ntl/state park campsites & roads which prohibit longer rigs.
- Fully self-contained. Many owners full-time in these.
- Bought @19K mi, as-new condition, from RV dlr in WA May 2015, $57,500. Clean CarFax. Fewer than 14K easy mi added before illness.
- Clean, well maintained (M-B & Winnie), manuals & records.
- All systems xlnt: engine, generator, appliances, furnace, toilet, roof AC, etc.
- Only mech issue (fuel gauge) replaced by Mercedes. One minor body mishap (first wk, backed at 10 mph into post too low for backup camera to spot -- rookie error), repair good as new.
-- $1400 Michelins, barely used, warranty
-- Fan-Tastic roof vent/fan w/remote, cools rig w/o roof AC generator or battery drain. Great for boondocking, keeping pets cool when away.
-- New DISH receiver & King roof satellite
-- New Bluetooth dash radio/CD
-- Outdoor LP hookup for grill, firepit
-- Custom thermal/privacy shades for cab
-- LED lights
-- Memory foam topper for pullout sofa bed, stows beneath for travel
-- Leveling blocks, other necessities
Many owners add DIY solar. We considered it, but never needed it as we boondocked for days w/o it.
Active online owners groups will answer every Q, give trip tips.
NADA value $51,381 w/these low miles, add-ons and XLNT cond. Comparable new ones start at $100K street, $130K list. Asking $41,500 for a quick, clean sale. This is a steal for someone.
The RV is now in Rathdrum, ID (Spokane area). Shown to serious buyers by appointment only. Pls call/text John at (208) 687-6699.
