Description

2001 Rexhall Vision 36 ES Cummins Diesel engine with an Allison transmission.

Interior:

  • Residential fridge to replace the old fridge
  • Paint/Vinyl flooring
  • Replaced microwave and new shelving
  • I repaired water damage next to the slide on the drivers side, but opening the wall up, removing the insulation, replacing with new insulation, and putting in a new wall that I'm about to add shelves & coat hangers on.
  • We threw away the original couch. Replaced with IKEA sofa couch. We measured to fit a pull out table in the extra space. The covers on the couch are removable and washable.
  • Replaced mattress with Tuft and Needle mattress
  • I made a pipe framed bed for my son to sleep in on top of our master where the headboard would be. The girls got beds in the side space on the master's left and right. All of that is easily removable if you don't need the custom beds
  • I patched up the holes where the tv was and made a desk/coffee nook for my wife.
  • I redid the driver's area and entry steps with rubber athletic flooring and re-stained the oak in the stairwell to match
  • We added a projector and pull down screen along with a Bose sound system. I'm a sound/film guy, and we all thought this was pretty slick. The dimensions are massive on the screen.
Major Replacements/Fixes
  • Redone plumbing: I installed a new larger, better pump than the original, reran all the pipe with Pex and sharkbite joints, installed a backflow valve so the pump is protected when filling and added a drain and overflow line for the water tank itself. I installed a 3 stage water filter that is beneath the sink and works great.
  • Black tank re-sealed. The bathroom is a strong selling point of this motorhome. A lot of space, a good size shower, and a full size toilet. You don't feel cramped like in some rigs.
  • 6 new tires.
  • All new brakes, drums, and calipers on each wheel.
  • New fuse box/housing for quad engine fans in the back
  • Electrical wires for towing have been added
  • Generator got an oil change, fresh sparkplug, and a cleaning.
  • The chassis has been greased from front to back.
  • New Batteries. 2 for the coach, 2 for the chassis.
  • New E-brake assembly.
  • New front windshields and gasket
  • New water hoses, hose filter, and dump hoses. These are good ones, but inexpensive to replace if you'd so desire.
  • There's more That's what's coming to mind
There is more to say and some things that still need a little work, but they are minor things and there is limited space here on the ad. Email me for more info!
