This multi-award winning campground, which has been in operation for 40 years, features spectacular views, lots of trees & beautiful Elk Creek that weaves its way throughout the campground.

Located only 15 minutes from Historic Glenwood Springs, you can enjoy activities such as River Rafting, Tram Rides, Cave Tours or maybe just unwinding from a long day at the Hot Springs.

Elk Creek Campground offers a variety of activities such as Fishing, Hiking & Sightseeing. Feeling a little more adventurous, bring your ATV or Jeep to enjoy numerous trails throughout the wilderness.

The current owner of the campground was previously involved with Elk Creek as a limited partner, but ultimately had to take over operations due to complications with the general partner. The owner is a well-respected custom home developer in the Aspen Valley and investor in notable other investments and has not/does not have the time to maximize the potential of Elk Creek.

In addition to the the 78 RV/tent/cabin sites, there is an owner’s residence and two apartments. While the season runs from May 1 to October 31, the residence and apartments may be used year-round. Additionally, the owner has made significant investment to the infrastructure and more details can be provided.

The campground is currently encumbered by a loan, through a local lender, in the approximate amount of $2M, that may be possible to assume. It is also possible that the current lender may be a lending prospect form a new owner.
