This 33+ site park is the only full hook up campground in Deer Isle, Maine one of the state's premier tourism destinations. It is located just over a mile from Stonington village where more lobsters are landed than any port in Maine. Nearby shops, galleries, restaurants, pristine beaches and a ferry to transport campers to offshore Isle au Haut.
Improvements include paved roads, a range of sites from 50 amp, pull-thru, full-hook ups to rustic tent sites, an equipped maintenance building with excavator and bulldozer, a camp office building, bath house, pickle ball court, year round manager's home, and 9 mobile home sites.
Created by local Bruce Greenlaw over many years on 50 acres, the park was in process of being expanded when the owner passed away in 2015. A second well was drilled plus site evaluation for additional septic systems. Bruce's heir has continued to operate the park on a limited basis in preparation for a sale.
A 20-unit self store building provides additional revenue.
