Marcus & Millichap is pleased to present the Albert Lea/Austin KOA, an 80 site RV park located in Hayward, Minnesota off Interstate-90. The park’s ideal location provides easy access to the major interstates 90 and 35 for traveling east/west and north/south respectively. The park is only an hour and forty-five minutes south of Minneapolis and is located between the two cities of Austin and Albert Lea with a combined population of just under 45,000. This seasonal park, open from May through September offers campers nightly, weekly or monthly stay options. Campers can stay at the campground in one of the many RV sites, camping cabins, deluxe cabins and tent sites.
The park consists of 63 total RV sites. Of those 63 sites, 16 are full hook-up pull through sites offering 50-amp service. Three of these sites are upgraded patio sites. The remaining 47 sites are water/electric sites with 44 of these sites providing 50-amp service and three providing 30-amp service. Of the 44 water/electric sites providing 50-amp service, thirty-one are pull-through and thirteen are back-in. Two of the 30-amp sites are pull through with the remaining site being a back-in. Another great way to enjoy the campground is in one of the four cabins. There are two one-room cabins and two deluxe cabins on the property. The one-room cabins sleep up to four with one full bed and one bunk bed. The deluxe cabins sleep up to six and are equipped with a full bath and shower as well as a partial kitchen. In addition to the RV sites and cabins, guests can camp at one of the many tent sites. There are also large areas where groups can camp in their tents together.
While staying at the Albert Lea/Austin KOA, campers have access to Wi-Fi, laundry open 24-hours, a playground and dog park. Other amenities campers can enjoy include basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, meeting hall, game room and a convenience store. The park is only an hour and a half away from Mall of America, the largest mall in the United States. The SPAM Museum in Austin is a local attraction, and the Freeborn County Fair in Albert Lea is a big draw every summer. Over six days there is live entertainment, a carnival exhibits and kid friendly activities. Located just miles from the intersection of two coast-to-coast highways, the Albert Lea/Austin KOA is in prime location to attract travelers heading in any direction.
