The Rawlins KOA is a 62-site RV park located in Rawlins, Wyoming off Interstate-80. The park’s location is an ideal stop for campers traveling to Yellowstone to the northwest or the Black Hills to the northeast. In addition, the park is only four hours to Salt Lake City to the west, two and a half hours to Cheyenne to the east and three and a half hours to Denver to the south. There is also immediate upside for a new owner able to add 17 full hook-up sites. This seasonal park offers campers nightly, weekly or monthly stay options. Guests can stay at the campground in one of the many RV sites offered, cabins or tent sites.
The park consists of 51 total RV sites. Nine of the 51 RV sites are deluxe sites providing campers with concrete patios and wind fences. One of these 9 sites also includes a fireplace, a table with chairs and rocking chairs making it a super site. Three of these deluxe sites are 50-amp while 6 are 30-amp. In addition to the deluxe sites there are 30 full hook-up pull through sites. Eleven of the full hook-up pull through sites are 50-amp while the remaining 19 provide 30-amp service. The park also provides 12 water/electric sites, 7 of which are 30-amp pull through and 5 that are 30-amp back-in. Besides the multiple options via RV sites to stay at the park, the Rawlins KOA also offers 5 one-room camping cabins. These cabins are equipped with a double bed, twin bunk beds, refrigerator and air conditioning. The cabins comfortably sleep up to four people. Another way to enjoy the park are the 6 tent sites. All 6 sites have electricity and a gravel site pad. Campers are provided access to the camper kitchen providing stoves and sinks. The park also provides a new owner or manager with a 1500 square foot residence equipped with 3 beds and 2 full baths built in 2000.
While staying at the Rawlins KOA campers have access to Wi-Fi, splash pad, laundry facilities open 24-hours, a playground and a dog park where guests can let their pets off the leash. Other amenities campers can enjoy are the mini-golf course, pedal kart rentals, cable TV, pavilion and handicapped accessible restrooms and showers.
