Description

Located 30 minutes outside Allegheny National Forest, in Warren County Hemlock Lakes Park is a 40 acre park (50% developed) of established camping (132 sites) and a farmhouse (5 bedrooms, 2 baths, garage, 3-bay workshop). The topography is fat, heavily wooded with old growth timber, small streams and 6 man-made ponds for fishing, canoeing and swimming, as well as a playground for the kids. Spend the day at the Drake Oil Well Museum and Park where you can learn about the birth of the American Oil Industry. Go d deep into the Allegheny National Forest where you can visit Kinzua Dam, one of the largest Dams in the US. While you are there take a boat out on the neighboring Tionesta Lake. If fishing is your pleasure, you will want to take a trip to the area's fish hatcheries, Hilltop Hatchery and the Corry State Fish Hatchery, a 10-acre hatchery, go fly-fishing in the Spring Creek a Flyfisher's Paradise or fishing in one of the best trout streams in the area, just a stone's throw from the campground. If it's horses you want, visit any number of horseback riding facilities in the area. And if it's golfing your heart desires we can oblige that too!
