From grass land and sagebrush, to snow capped mountains and trout laden streams, this part of Montana, has it all.

Within a short drive, one can fish trout from the Bighorn River. Then go visit Custer’s Battlefield.

Bald Eagles regularly soar along the Yellowstone River. The river is fed by streams, coming down from the highest mountain in Montana (Granite Peak).

Over the Rocky Mountains, on the Beartooth Highway, you can take “the most beautiful drive in America," rising nearly 11,000 feet high, before dropping into the Yellowstone Park Wilderness.

All this is within a short distance from the great state’s largest city, Billings Montana. These reasons and more, bring lots of people to Billings; and Yellowstone County.

Affordable and conveniently located facilities for camping and outdoor activities are limited. The Mustang Event Park and Dry Campground, is being built to serve these needs.

The Park is in the latter stages of completion, for initial 2023 opening.
