It is located very close to a popular spring called Silver Springs. It is adjacent to the Ocklawaha River and Silver River which feeds into Silver Springs and Silver Springs State Park. The water is crystal clear and beautiful. There is a tremendous amount of wildlife on the banks of the rivers. We have an easement with the State of Florida that gives us direct access to the Ocklawaha River. The property was originally started back in 2006. It was permitted for 459 units to be ‘Condominiumized’ or individually sold. The project was fully permitted and was ready to come out of the ground. At that time, we collected deposits for 75 units. But because of the failure of the banking industry, our bank was sold so the construction funding was eliminated. The project became dormant.
