Located only an hour and fifteen minutes west of Albuquerque the park is a popular stop for travelers. Enjoy 85-foot-long Pull-Thru RV Sites with up to 50-amp service and plenty of room for slide-outs, as well as Tent Sites and Camping Cabins. Let the staff provide supper (March-October), with Campground Cuisine dinners delivered to your site. Kids will enjoy the playground, and your K9 pals can get their exercise at the on-site Kamp K9. You can also take a relaxing stroll among ancient lava beds here. End the evening with free wireless internet and cable TV as you rest up for your next day's adventures. Then start your morning with a free continental breakfast. Perhaps you'll extend your stay to explore more of the beauty and history of northwestern New Mexico. Grants KOA makes it easy for you to have an enjoyable time while you are in the area.
The park consists of 42 total RV sites. Of those 42 sites, 36 are full hookups with cable TV. 20 of the full hookups have 50-amp service with the remaining 16 offering 30-amp service. The remaining 6 sites flex as tent sites when needed and offer water/electric with 30-amp service. Guests can also enjoy the campground in one of the two camping cabins. The family cabin sleeps up to four campers providing a full bed and a bunk bed with A/C and cable TV. The Couples cabin sleeps two with a full bed and table and chairs. These cabins also include A/C and cable TV for our camper’s enjoyment. The remaining 5 sites are dry camping on gravel pads in Tent Village.
While staying at the Grants New Mexico KOA campers have access to Wi-Fi, cable TV, laundry open 24-hours, a playground and two dog park areas. Other amenities campers can enjoy are the convenience store, well-kept bathroom shower rooms. Grants KOA has a full service commercial kitchen where guests can order food (March-October). There is a 1/4 mile walking trail through lava beds and information about its formation many years ago. One of the big draws for the campground is the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta held annually in October. In 2018, around 886,000 guests attended the event over nine days. There are also local attractions such as the “Ice Caves”, La Ventana arch, and El Morro.

Location
Grants is a city in Cibola County, New Mexico, United States. It is located about 78 miles west of Albuquerque. The population was 9,182 at the 2010 Census. It is the county seat of Cibola County. Grants is located along the Trails of the Ancients Byway, one of the designated New Mexico Scenic Byways.
