The Statesville KOA is an 87-site RV park located just outside of the city of Statesville, North Carolina. Statesville has a population of just under 27,000 and is located at the intersection of major interstate highways 40 and 77. Open all year round, this well-maintained park is a popular stop for campers traveling east/west from the North Carolina coast to Tennessee and beyond as well as north/south from Ohio down to South Carolina. Campers can stay in RV sites, one of the six cabins or tent sites at the park.
The Statesville KOA consists of 53 RV sites and another 28 sites that are mixed-use sites for tents and pop-up trailers. Of the 53 RV sites, 40 are full hook-up. All 40 of these sites are pull-through. 24 of the 40 full hook-up sites have 50-amp service with the remaining 16 providing 30-amp service. The last 13 RV sites are water/electric sites only. All 13 of these sites are pull-through and provide 30-amp service. There are 28 sites at the park that are used for tents and/or trailers, as necessary. These 28 sites are back-in, water/electric only sites. All 28 of the mixed-use sites are provide 30-amp service. In addition to the RV and mixed-use sites, guests can stay in in one of six one-room cabins. The cabins sleep comfortably sleep four guests with a full bed and bunk bed. Each cabin has AC/heat, a TV with cable, picnic table and charcoal grill. The park also provides a double wide manager’s residence located on site 13 on the site map.
The Statesville KOA is located 45 minutes north of Charlotte and within an easy driving distance to a Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart Supercenter and countless other shops, restaurants and attractions. Beyond it’s easy access to Interstates 40 and 77, the park also has amenities for camper enjoyment while staying at the property. Campers have access to Wi-Fi, cable, a pool, laundry room, a playground and dog park. Other amenities campers can enjoy are the convenience store, well-kept bathrooms half-court basketball and a game room.
