The camp is surrounded on three sides by the Sierra Nevada mountains and is within a short drive to Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, Twin Lakes and the historic gold-mining town of Bodie. It is also less than an hour drive south on Hwy 395 to the scenic Mammoth Mountain. The property features excellent hiking, ATV, dirt-bike and mountain bike trails that are accessible from camp. Kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding and rock climbing are at the footstep of the property as well. Recently voted the 2nd favorite campground in California by HipCampand five-star peer reviews place the park at the top of the local offerings. Having faithful return guests often necessitates a long waiting list.
