Oakdale Park is being offered for sale via sealed bids. It is a historic RV Park and Campground located in Glen Rose, Texas, which has been in operation since 1925. It encompasses 21 acres and has 120 RV spaces, 22 cabins, meeting rooms (one able to accommodate up to 300 guests), a 300,000 gallon swimming pool with a concession stand, a new playground, a propane fueling station, a coin operated laundry, bath houses, and an outdoor stage with snack bar. Oakdale is located across the street from Big Rocks Park and the Paluxy River and river walk. The Park was purchased by the City of Glen Rose in 2009, which has made significant investments in renovating and promoting the property. The City purchased a 6 acre vacant lot adjacent to the park and built 16 new RV spaces on the property. There is much additional room for further development.

The property is home to several annual events,long-standing family reunions, and many RV club rallies. The Bluegrass Jamboree has been a regular feature since 1972 and the Lone Star State Dulcimer Society has been hosting an annual festival with free admission at Oakdale since 1982. In addition to the festivals, the Paluxy River Bluegrass Association hosts jam sessions and a free stage show on the 3rd Saturday of each month. There is also an annual Woodcarvers Show and Rally, and for several years running, Oakdale has been home to a combination barbeque and CASI chili cookoff.
