Description
1993 Ford E350 7.3 Diesel Engine - this is a great engine. MUST GO! 3,000 or best offer.
REASON FOR SELLING: We're leaving to teach abroad.
****We live in Minneapolis MN, and will need to fly down for showings. I hope to set up showings for 7/29-7/30.****
OUR STORY: My girlfriend and I purchased this RV at the beginning of the pandemic. We are both teachers and taught from the road often. We have since chose to store the RV is beautiful Las Vegas due to cheap flights, how close it is to many state and national parks as well as the ocean. We flew into from our home in Minneapolis Minnesota many times throughout the years. We have been coast to coast, and visited countless National and State Parks. We have hosted many friends on many trips. We have had such wonderful adventures in this RV but we are moving to teach abroad and the RV must go, we signed a two year teaching contract with the potential to add more year. Paying for storage and letting is sit for a couple years just doesn't make sense.
THE PERKS: We set up our RV with the intention of hosting other friends and couples. We will leave the following in the RV:
- bedding, blankets, and pillows.4 shower towel,
- 4 beach towels, kitchen towels, rags, etc.
- kitchen supplies, pots, pans, cups, coffee cups, silverware, plates, bowls, etc.
- coffee pot and toaster
- 2 lawn chairs, 2 outdoor tables, a shade tent, large section of fake grass to roll out
- bear spray
- medium sized cooler and water cooler
RECENT REPAIRS: We added a quick-release setup to the battery due to an unknown power drain. We the fuse box was added. The living quarters AC runs real cold.
NEEDED REPAIRS: the RV needs new power steering.
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS I'VE BEEN ASKED: The leveling jacks do not work but everything else electrical works. The generator needs a new starter. The tires are in good shape with the exception of the outer rear passenger side tire has a little damage from a curb. The brakes squeak a little at times and may need to be replaced down the line. There are no known leaks. There is cosmetic damage to the rear that can be seen from the pictures.
There is a binder with all of the paperwork about any repairs that have been done which will note when work was done.
ODDITIES: There is a nuance to the black water tank. I fill the tank with a hose, and I never let the tank get over halfway full.
At the end of the day, it's a great, strong engine in an 30 year old body. It is not perfect but it is priced accordingly.
