I have cherished my Meerkat for the last 4+ years and am reluctantly parting with it as my family has grown. This trailer has been the companion of four beautiful 2-week-long road trips and other camping trips. It was pulled by two regular sedans, one of which was an EV.

What sets the Meerkat apart? It's the perfect companion for those seeking a camper that can be towed by any small car effortlessly. Its compact design ensures you enjoy the desired fuel economy while providing a dry, comfortable sleeping space and a cozy indoor relaxation area. The Meerkat is an ideal fit for two adults and up to a medium-sized dog (although we made one trip with a large husky, a beagle, and two adults), making it a convenient choice for outdoor adventures.

Weighing in at only 920 lbs., this tiny but mighty "cute" Meerkat travel trailer is easily moved around when unhitched and fits inside your standard garage. On the inside, it features a wrap-around seating area with a table that can quickly be transformed into a sleeping space at night and a counter area in front that includes a sink and a drawer that holds a one-burner camp stove (included, along with a supply of butane). Three windows and a fantastic ceiling-mounted fan allow plenty of fresh air. I camped in 100-degree weather, and the inside of the trailer was 25 degrees cooler. You will also find plenty of storage space under the wrap-around seating, in the closet up front, and cabinets and drawers beneath the counter.
