Description
Health Forces Sale. For the last 2 years we have been preparing our 1997 Foretravel U295 for its big adventure this summer: Three months of RVing in our home state of Alaska. Our campaign to upgrade, refine, fix, modify and equip her to better-than-new for this trip has made her 100% ready to go. But now, cancer. The trip is off and I must sell, so someone else will benefit from our time, money, and efforts with this mechanically bulletproof, cosmetically elegant, and extremely well-equipped motorhome at a rare price. Putting all my cards on the table, here are the only remaining issues I am aware of: The decaling is weak (maybe a 4 out of 10, but with several affordable remedies); four windows have some “snaking” without condensation problems (i.e. cosmetic issue only so far); and some may feel the original interior “dates” the RV even though that interior is virtually flawless (no tears, stains, or wear-marks). And for those not familiar with Foretravel, please know the company is still in business and has a very active owner’s club.It remains in the top few brands for quality, and the 1995 to 2005 era (about) is considered the Glory Years for all RV manufacturers. This 1997 is truly one of the best of the best—just look at the three pages of factory standard features in the photo section, then add to that all we did (washer and dryer, dishwasher, CarPlay monitor, HD color backup and sideview cameras, large solar panel array, full conversion to LED interior lights, larger modern TVs and players converted to 12v so they can be watched off-grid, a full stock of spare belts, filters, and fluids, and…a lot more). REGARDING PRICE. I have nearly $60,000 invested, and the best analysis a broker and I could do puts its fair retail value in the low to mid $40,000 range. I am willing to consider ANY sincere offer (you have the cash and truly want to buy the motorhome) above $19,500. Please feel free to call or email with any questions (best email is direct at larenzager@hotmail.com). A FaceTime tour could be available to a serious inquiry. Thank you for taking the time to view this listing and consider my pride and joy motorhome.
