Known as "The quietest riding, best handling coach on the market today, period". That is what sparked our interest when we upgraded to this 2017 Anthem 44B two years ago from our 2015 Fleetwoood Discovery. Our Discovery was bumpy, lots of rattles and wind noise, and a fight to drive. This Anthem can be driven with two fingers, smooth, quiet, powerful and a dream to drive in the mountains. Riding on the Spartan K2 Mountain Master chassis is a dream. With 2 stage engine braking, you hardly touch the brakes, even in 7% downgrade. The powerful Cummins ISL9 turbocharged 450 boasts an incredible 1,250 lb. ft. torque pushes this coach up the most demanding of drives. We've traveled over some of the steepest of the Rocky Mountains with ease towing a full size Ram pickup or Jeep. Now the best part (for some of you at least), The previous owner had a custom fabricated a 3 hitch mount behind the rear cap with the mounts protruding through the rear bumper. This is the only coach I've EVER seen with such a custom hitch. This hitch fits a Cruiser Lift Motorcycle Lift which I am INCLUDING with this purchase. This custom hitch and lift would cost $10,000 if you installed today. He also put a 5 year ceramic coating on the coach costing $12,000. I've been told by National Indoor RV Center, where we store the coach that it is the "lowest mileage, cleanest, best condition used Anthem they have ever seen". Being a private seller, you save over $15K in sales tax and all the other fees dealerships charge. My wife and I got into coach ownership during the pademic as our company is in sales and we cover 4 states: AZ, NV, NM and CO. We needed to be able to travel our territory at a time when flights and hotels were not an option. We absolutely fell in love with the RV life and have since purchased an Airstream to downsize. We cherrish this beautiful coach and take meticulous care maintaining its immaculate condition. We are neat freaks, non smokers of any kind, no kids or shedding pet. 44B is the most popular floorplan and the Victory Blue and Platinum Premier Upgrade is the ONLY available nationwide at the moment, keeping up with current trends where the browns, reds and golds are outdated.
