I don't want to drown you with manufacturing details about my van and will only detail my own personal history with it. Mostly because the kind of person that usually shows up to purchase adventure vans are savvy and have already done the tireless research/homework on the vehicle thru the web and YouTube. Its a passion and we enjoy the journey.
I bought my van from La Mesa RV here in Phoenix, AZ 11 months ago. Although I love the outdoors and am 100% happy with the Ford chassis and the Storyteller build (nothing has gone wrong, no warranty work), I simply can't justify the ownership of this van any longer. Why? I'm in the prime years of my carreer and am therefore extremely busy with work. I have very little time to leave town on adventures and we are in the market for a new house in this highly overvalued real estate market here in AZ. In 11 months I've done 2 camping trips only. And they together only lasted approximately 10 days. The rest of the time the van has been in storage in an enclosed garage on a battery tender with the fuel treated for storage. A few details about the van. It has only 1800 miles. It has never been off road. It has never been in the rain. No accidents. There are no scratches, dents, blemishes, tears, etc.Its always been garaged. I have never used the toilet, the shower or the cooktop. It is 100% stock with every piece of equipment, both from Ford and Storyteller, in working order. It is still under warranty. In short, I took the van from the dealer and for the most part its been garaged. It still has that "new car smell." That is my story.
