For sale is the aluminum truck top and the F-250 as one unit. The aluminum camper top took over a year to build and was professionally, custom-manufactured from scratch. Truck weight is approximately 5,000 pounds. Camper weight is approximately 4,000 pounds.

Truly a one-of-a-kind unit. Completely solar-powered. Never plug in again! The camper sits on top of a 1999 Ford F-250 Superduty with a 7.3 Liter Turbodiesel Powerstroke V-8 engine.

Camper was fabricated in Pennsylvania using for the shell: 1/8" aluminum panels / 3" Owens Corning board insulation / 1/2" plywood interior. This makes an extremely sturdy and well-insulated composite panel shell that is supported by a skeleton of 1" aluminum angles TIG welded to each other.

The unit was designed for boondocking / overlanding. Eight 100 Watt solar panels on top for a total of 800 Watts of solar input.

The battery bank provides a large, useable capacity of 250 amp hours.

The robust solar-powered system powers everything: the air-conditioning, the fridge, microwave, and anything else you can plug into a regular AC socket such as a coffeemaker, space heater, induction cooktop, and the numerous DC components described below. Run the A/C off solar!

The aluminum shell is bolted to the bed of the truck with six bolts. It could be unbolted and slide into any standard 8' truck bed.

Along with the AC components are the DC components such as the dimmable recess lights, the water pump, the charge controller, battery monitor, and Maxxair vent fan. Includes a control panel with switches for 12 volt components. The usuable square space inside the unit is approximately 70' Twin bed is ample in size and about 6 1/2 feet long. Remote controlled ventfan and A/C.

Tested and proven. Rig has boondocked in the desert and cooler climates and all systems work great. Camper has only been in use for about 8 months and is like new in condition.

Truck passed inspection in Pennsylvania in September 2022 and has no issues. Just got new brakes. Truck currently registered and insured in Pennsylvania.

Kohler double sided mirror mounted in recess next to the kitchen. Deep, stanless stell sink. Corian countertops. Interior is wood. Fridge and microwave included.Air-conditioning unit is mounted in the back next to the door.

Truck is in excellent condition and has one of the best diesel truck engines ever made by Ford.
