Description

Some advise from an old guy helping his daughter sell her camper.
There are design and quality differences between these travel trailer manufacturers.
Some use good wood, fiberboard, plastic, and adhesive, some do not. Let's face it - that's 90% of what these trailers are made of.
My experience is Forest River trailers are overall well made with quality materials and components.
That's why I recommended my kids buy this one a couple years ago.
So from the start this is a quality camper.
Also - if you have never bought a brand new RV - this mostly applies to travel trailers - you would know that about 10-15% of them develop some issue within the first 2-3 campouts. Sometimes it's little stuff, sometimes the trailer has to go back to the dealer for serious service. I have been a camper owner since 1998, and I have personnely seen this happen to friends and family.
Brand new homes are the same way. They are rarely perfect when you move in.
This camper did have a small issue with the slide out on the first camp out, but it was just a simple adjustment someone cocked up at the factory or it settled in transit. The dealer fixed it no problem.
So keep that in mind when you consider spending thousands of dollars on a new trailer. A brand new trailer can be like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get. :)
My kids are taking a beating selling this camper for $30k, but it just sits there and doesn't add much value to their family.
Find out how much a brand new Forest River 36' trailer with the bunkhouse floor plan costs brand new.
And ask yourself - is it really worth the added cost to get that new trailer when this one is just as nice?
And it's been live-tested so we know there are no electrical, plumbing, slideout, or other issues.
If you've been looking at other people's junk, or over priced dealer stock, all I ask is you come see this one if you're close to the area.
You won't be disappointed.

And -
Some basic items will be included that don't come with a new camper like cutlery, sheets, etc
Plus the expensive trailer hitch - even a back up camera!!
