The mansion is 8.5' x 30' x 10' (exterior height) Interior height is
6'6 with inside the shower area is
5' 11" with no skylight and no slides. The mansion has r50 insulation in the ceiling, r20 in the exterior walls, and r26 in floor. It has single pane windows, so in the winter we put plastic on the inside to make double pane windows. We installed a Honda 6 horse motor with a Bosch 4000 w 24 volt alternator as a battery charger. We have eight deep cycle golf cart batteries in the back. We have a magnum 4000 watt pure sine wave inverter/charger that runs the electricity. We have 40 gallons of freshwater capacity and 20 gallon gray tank under the shower. The 2 gallon electric water heater is under the sink and has a on/off switch installed by the sink on the wall. All plumbing is in the house, so nothing will freeze and nothing requires electricity to keep from freezing. We have a 100lb tank of LP mounted on the tongue. We use it for the 14,000btu non-electric lp furnace and for cooking. We also have a microwave, washer & Dryer, deep freezer, fridge, and mini-split a/c.
The utility room would make a nice second bedroom, if needed. We never used one of the small, one foot by one foot doors by the bathroom. At one point we were going to install a wood burner, but opted for a pantry instead. We have been living in the mansion full-time for our home for 3 years, and you will only need routine maintenance in order to enjoy many more years of living, traveling, vacationing, or rent it as a second house.We have decided it is too big, so we have bought an 18 ft cargo trailer, and are finishing it into our Cottage.
