Description

We have owned this Shasta Cynara motor home since May 2021, a 250 series on a Ford E-350 chassis, 30-amp. Previous owners took excellent care of it, as have we. We can provide our maintenance records and owner's manuals. Other than a small "ding" in the bumper and a minor scrape there when we bought it, the exterior is in great condition. We sealed the roof seams with EternaBond tape as a precaution and have never had a leak. We replaced the head on the electrical cord, added a locking gas cap, replaced the cargo compartment locks with customized locks. Four of the tires are new (Nov. 2021), and the other two less than 3 years old. Previous owner installed a backup camera. We replaced the engine battery and house battery. Our maintenance schedule includes tire rotation, brake inspection, oil changes every 3,000 miles; cleaning the roof vents, refrigerator vent, and a/c filter; caulking; treating rubber seals and tires with weather protectant. We treated the undercarriage and propane tank with rust inhibitor and had the propane tank inspected. We replaced the anode rod in the water heater. We changed the oil in the onboard generator (Onan 4000) every 150 hrs and had it serviced every 500 hrs until April 2022. At that time, the mechanic advised it should be replaced. We do not intend to replace it, opting to use electrical hookups instead. At this time, the generator works, although it uses oil. The interior is in outstanding condition; we are non-smokers with no pets. Everything works well with one exeption: sometimes only 2 burners on the 3-burner stove will light at the same time. The refrigerator and freezer stay very cold. The RV has a standard microwave and oven. The television has a built-in DVD player, set up to run off the house battery via inverter. It has antenna and cable hookup, neither of which we have used. We replaced the dated dinette with a new two-person recliner sofa. The bunk ladder is in storage, but we can ship it if requested. The master bed has a "real" queen mattress, not a thin RV mattress. The over-cab bed has generous head room, additional storage, cup holders, and outlets. Also included are a spare tire, set of levelers, chock block, potable water hose, three 6-gallon water jugs, "Watchdog" brand surge protector, 20- and 50-amp "dog bone" adapters, and miscellaneous repair items (Dycor, caulk, etc.). Our asking price includes delivery to most states. Buyers who do not need delivery will find us open to negotiation on price.
