Description
It's time to let someone else enjoy this rig - I highly suggest googling for specific specs. It is a VW Chassie with a Winnebago body and they can be finicky as any foreign car is.119,850 miles I have complete maintenance records from the original and next owner - I'm 3rd on the list, will you be 4?
The manufacture claims it will get 21 miles to the gallon I managed 19 on the highway and 16 in the hills.
I've been burned before so I'm going to be as honest as possible - DONT BE SCAMMED - I will never ever ever ever ask for a deposit and will happily video call with you in the rig so you know I and it are real.
The good: New subfloor, new floor, new laminate.
New sink, raised counter to fit a full-size dorm fridge (included).
The bed is surprisingly comfy!
Full-size shower, onboard water tank, 2 brand new cabin batteries.
Never leaked, windows and screens intact, had a back up camera professionally installed but you don't need it - this thing drives just like a car.
The tires have no cracks.
I replaced all the lights with LED to not drain the battery.
The overhead air conditioner works GREAT - kept up just fine with all those 110° days we had this summer.
I did take out the second-row seats - they weren't comfortable and I wanted space but I do have them and will include them if you so desire.
The heater works like a CHAMP and runs off propane.
It does have a generator with low low hours - it runs off your gas tank and automatically shuts down when you're at 1/4 tank. Takes right off.
Transmission dip stick! This may not seem like a big deal but a lot of models didn't have one and checking fluids was impossible.
The bad: the water heater busted a seam when the last owner didn't winterize - is about $350 to replace, I didn't think it was worth it for 4 gallons of hot water when I could boil water for dishes (cold water works great. There is no stovetop - I used a convection hotplate so it didn't heat up the whole rig. The tires have no cracks but they are old, I'd replace them in the next year. These rigs have a small engine and they are prone to overheating so they need a transmission cooler - I bought the best on the market but didn't have time to install it, there are step by step how-to videos if you're handy - any mechanic should be able to do it. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
Price is negotiable - isn't everything? Would consider a trade of similar value.
