Description
- Almost new Winnebago Latitude 5th Wheel, Model 34 RG. The RG indicates Rear Galley (kitchen). However, the 34 does not indicate 34 feet long. Not sure what it means. Actual length from front of nosecap to rear of ladder is 40 feet. We bought this camper brand new from our local Winnebago Dealer in 2018 (they had excess inventory at that time) and we have put about 6,000 total miles on it. We knew when we bought it that our age and health were not going to allow us to keep it very long, but it was too beautiful to resist. Had a knee replacement last year but still have trouble climbing these 3 steps, even though they are easy for normal people with normal knees. This is definitely the nicest fifth wheel we ever owned, and we have had many many. Very unique floor plan with real big kitchen with full pantry, large fridge (propane / electric) and a fun breakfast bar with 2 barstools, in addition to big 4 person table. Living room has large flat screen tv, sofa and footstool / table, and rocker recliner. Bedroom is up front, (after climbing 2 more steps with nice decorative railing), with a king size bed, cedar lined closet, and nice big bathroom and shower. Washer/dryer prep and generator prep. Lots of storage inside the camper and in pass through basement. See floor plan by googling Winnebago Latitude M34RG. This camper has the highly rated Winnebago 4 season extreme arctic package, with upgraded wall and roof insulation, pipe insulation, belly heat, and tank heat pads. In addition, when we bought it, we paid extra to have the dealer replace all the windows with dual thermal insulated windows. It originally only had 1 roof air conditioner (15,000 btu), but we had the dealer install a 2nd roof ac to serve just the bedroom, which is essential on hot summer nights, stays super cool. Also installed Anderson Ultimate fifth wheel hitch. Also I just now replaced all 4 of the original 10 ply (E rated) tires with extreme heavy duty 14 ply G rated Goodyear G614RST, because the E rated tires had too much side flexing when cranking sharp turns in reverse. These G rated Goodyears do not side flex at all !!! These new tires have less than 20 miles on them at this time! Whoever buys this RV is going to love these tires, and love this entire upgraded camper! This fifth wheel is probably light enough (14,000 GVWR) to pull with a half ton pickup, but I highly recommend a diesel 3/4 ton, and then you will hardly even notice the trailer is there.
- NOTE: You can see this RV at Dakota RV in Rapid City. Ask for General Manager Cole Foster. They are selling it for me on consignment. They are the Winnebago dealer who we bought it from, and are authorized to provide full Winnebago service and parts.
