Description
My wife & I purchased this trailer as an entry level unit because we weren't sure how our family would like the RV/camping experience. After our first few trips, we were hooked. We enjoyed this trailer so much that we sold our Toyota Tundra and purchased an F250 and a new fifth wheel trailer. This was a bittersweet moment because we loved our North Trail but wanted a larger trailer to accommodate more guests & gear. Our two kids, (11 & 8) loved the bunk beds which were larger than the twin beds they have at home. The master bedroom is spacious with plenty of storage. The TV is mounted on a swivel so that it can be turned to face the living room or the master bedroom. This trailer provides more storage room than you will need. There is a large pantry providing abundant storage for groceries, linens, etc. The kitchen features additional cabinet storage for plates/bowls, utensils, pots/pans, etc. The kitchen island features a two bowl sink with under cabinet storage for trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. The bathroom is a good size and has a tub/full size shower and vanity sink with a medicine cabinet above. The bathroom also features a second external door providing campers access to the bathroom directly instead of having to go through the living room/kitchen area. One of our favorite features is the outside kitchen featuring a mini fridge, gas cooktop, sink & more storage. The outdoor shower at the rear of the trailer was very useful for rinsing off after a trip to the beach or rinsing plates/utensils used in outdoor dining. The main storage area is quite large and located in the front. The pass through compartment is accessible from doors on both sides of the trailer which makes loading/unloading a breeze. The trailer features scissor stabilizer jacks, power tongue jack & CURT sway control hitch. The trailer provides a propane storage system using 2 propane bottles and flex hosing connecting the furnace, kitchen cooktop, outside kitchen cooktop & auxillary port that can be used to connect an outdoor grill. We purchased the trailer new so it's a single owner trailer. The trailer has a 30 amp system, one roof mounted A/C & a propane furnace. The North Trail features a cold weather option making it great for use in colder climates. The trailer has been stored outdoors but we did use a cover to protect it from the sun. With all of these features, this North Trail trailer was the perfect starter for our family's camping adventures for years to come.
