Are you looking to purchase a trailer where the manufacture is considered one of top three manufactures for construction, durability and customer satisfaction? Are you looking to purchase an almost new ultra-high quality trailer but not pay Air Stream type prices or loose the depreciation value as soon as you pull it off the lot? Then our 2018 Lance 1985 trailer is the trailer for you.
You may ask why we are selling our Lance trailer if it is such a superior trailer? It is because we are buying another Lance trailer – but a much bigger one since we are slowly transitioning to becoming full time RV’ers. Visit the link to get a full walk through of the 2018 Lance 1985 but let me give you some information that you will not see in the pics or video.
The Lance 1985 with its murphy sofa-bed option features an open, spacious interior and a full-width aft bathroom. At just 4,045 pounds it's an easy tow for a larger SUV or pickup but still has all the comforts and amenities that normally come with a large trailer. We keep the trailer in a enclosed shelter when not in use AND there is a transferrable warranty till January 2024.
It is Lance’s commitment to superior construction quality and attention to detail that are some of the reasons that for the last decade that Lance has won the prestigious DSI Award (Dealer Satisfaction Index) for quality. They are also rated Best in Owner Satisfaction by their customers and recently, Consumers Digest awarded the entire Lance line their highest rating.
Lance uses more expensive Azdel in place of Luan wood for the walls, virtually eliminating mold and mildew. The interior walls and cabinetry are constructed of Euro-Ply. Everything is cut on a CNC machinery which shows in the fit and finish of the joints where other manufactures would use molding to hide imperfections.
Lance’s trailer frames are engineered Huck bolt construction and the walls are aluminum framed superstructure that provides for an extremely solid trailer that is also lightweight. The Lance trailers axles are heavy duty rubber torsion-bar suspension axles allow for independent articulation for better towing. Another example construction quality – a dual axle 4,000 pound trailer is very rare. In addition, the Lance 1985 is a certified four-season trailer with standard dual pane windows, water heater bypass and winterizing valve, insulated hatch covers and heated holding tanks. And yes, it has solar.
