Description
The Keystone Hideout 298BHDS is perfect for larger families or if you like to camp with larger groups. The living area is nicely equipped with wraparound dinette seating, a trifold sofa, tons of storage, a central vacuum system, a 3 burner cooktop with oven, microwave, and a gas/electric refrigerator and a large kitchen island with a large dual basin sink. Complete with surround sound, outdoor bluetooth stereo, a 32" tv in the living room and tons of storage. A large power awning with integrated LED light strip covers the door side with hookups to bring the living room tv outside. The master bedroom comes complete with a 24" TV/DVD combo, blackout curtains, and two closets that works great for longer trips. The bunkroom is equipped with two queen bunks, a large closet, and a 24" TV/DVD combo to keep the kids entertained at night or on those rainy days. The outdoor kitchen is well appointed with a mini fridge, a 2 burner Suburban cooktop, and plenty of storage to keep cooking utensils and spices. There is a gas hookup beneath the RV to allow you to bring your gas grill or griddle for the full cooking experience. We rarely ever use the inside kitchen. The bathroom feels like home with a large residential style shower, a medicine cabinet over the sink, and a ceramic foot flush toilet.
This is a factory 50a upgraded unit. 15k BTU ducted A/C in the main living area with a 13.5k BTU AC in the master bedroom. We have added JT Strong-arm stabilizers all the way around the coach to eliminate any movement when set up. We have also added a max air vent cover to allow you to vent the bathroom during those rainy days. The camper is winterized every year and the water heater flushed and anode rod changed every spring during de-winterization. The roof and the coach are washed regularly, and the roof is treated each season. All roof seams are thoroughly inspected each spring and fall. The tires remain covered when the rv is not in use, and show no signs of wear, checking, or cracking. Air pressure is adjusted prior to every trip. The coach currently has a Reese Goosebox upgraded pin box, but this will not be included. I will reinstall the factory Lippert 1621 pin box for the new owner.
The trailer pulls well with a 2500 or 3500 truck. The coach has less than 1k miles on it and still looks and smells like new. Potential buyers are welcome to come tour the unit at our home. It stays on 50a service, so everything can be inspected on site.
