Description
For sale is 2017 Ford Transit 350HD High Roof van conversion. The ceiling is well over six feet tall on the inside. It is in very good condition and only has 39,550 miles. It just got an oil change and a full inspection from a local shop and they gave it a clean bill of health. The only thing to note is the tires are a bit low, probably only a season or two left on them. The van runs on regular unleaded. Does have bank lien, so allow two weeks for title transfer.
It has a closet/wardrobe. Beneath that is a small cabinet we used to store a cassette toilet (not included). The table area converts to a bed. It also has a kitchenette with 7 gallons of fresh water storage and 7 gallons of gray water. The water is filtered and uses an electric pump. It has a few shelves to the left of the fridge which is a very nice Dometic unit that runs on 12v. The van also has overhead cabinets mounted securely to the ceiling. It has a swivel seat on the front passenger seat. There is tons of storage underneath the bed/seating area which is accessible from the inside and from the outside of the van in the rear. The van also has factory AC in the rear which we kept installed.
It has a 300w solar panel up top which takes up a bulk of the roof space. It’s got a 3000w inverter and a 100ah lithium ion battery which is equivalent to a 200ah lead acid. On top of charging via solar, it also has a battery to battery charger that uses the alternator of the van to charge the lithium battery. The van has LED lights down the center that are remote controlled and dimmable. It has a Maxxair roof vent that is rainproof and remote controlled. It has two 12v outlets and two outlets that are 110 and connected to the inverter. In total there are 8 USB ports and four standard house plugs.
Cosmetically it’s in great shape, with only a few small blemishes which I’ve taken pictures of. There is one small ding near the gas door and a small blemish on the sliding door. On the interior there is a small ripple in the floor which I’ve tried to capture in a photo.
The van does not come with a warranty, and is being sold as-is, as we did a DIY build on it and are not a full service shop.
There's stuff to learn but once you know it's not bad and this van is so fun to adventure and camp in!
