Insulated with organic Havelock wool and soundproof with Dynamat throughout for quiet driving. With our dogs, it was very important for us to minimize noise. We even put Dynamat on the floor, then layered a minicell foam on top of it and also replaced factory floor with solid plywood. 

The side panels are the factory panels described as factory option VA3, sidewall panelling with full hardboard. It is not luxurious, but fully functional and very easy to remove for further buildout with a more beautiful panel. 

Eberspacher D2 heater with electronic remote control and dedicated battery for long operation. The van has no electric house system or solar, but has an additional battery in exactly the same way that the factory would have installed it. The van already has option E36 Cutoff relay for Additional Battery. The alternator is charging both starter as well as aux battery, but when parked, the heater only pulls from the aux batter. 

Removable aluminium platform bed. It is a full panel bed that can be easily removed with 4 screws. It is 36inch high so easily fits bikes underneath. It is70 inch long.

Insulated wheel houses. 10 inch navigation screen. Distronic with adaptive speed control, which means the van can drive autonomously.

FAQ

Q: What is the wodden box in the back? A: We think it is a very imporant feature for winter driving. This is a RWD, so you rely on weight in the back for the Sprinter to handle safely on snow and ice. We built this box in order to put bags of metal pellets that weigh down the van down up to 500 lbs in the back. In summer, the box can be removed to make space for bikes. 

Q: Electricity? A: It has an additional battery, but does not have a multi-battery house 110V electric system that is charged from solar. A 110V converter drawing from the additional battery can be easily installed.
