Description

2015 Starcraft Launch UltraLite - 28BHS.  Rare Bunk House Model, sleeps 10!  We are the original owners, purchased this in spring 2016.  This camper has been great for our family of 5.  My wife is a clean-freak and i'm a car-junkie.  Between the two of us, you won't find a camper in better condition.  Its been properly winterized every winter.  Roof properly treated twice a year.  All mechanical and minor warranty issues were handled at the dealership.  We've used this 4-6 long weekends each summer, and has only been outside of Colorado twice to Wyoming.  We are selling it because we are taking a summer off of regular trips.

What did we love about this camper?

  • It comfortably fit our family of 5!
  • Its an Ultra-Lite, so we were able to pull it with my wife's Durango
  • The bunk-beds auto-lift to make more room for storage
  • There is an exterior door to the kids bunk-beds, so we can haul bikes, toys, generators and much more
  • There's two entrances, one direct to the bathroom, which keeps the floors clean
  • The awning is huge - 19', which during hot summer camping gives extra room to hide from the sun
  • 8CuFt Fridge - most fridges in an ultra lite are 6CuFt - we had much more room for food and drinks
  • Extreme weather package with ducted heat and ac vents to push air to front and rear
  • TONS of storage (my wife's requirement)
  • LED Lights throughout - you can keep lights on for hours and hours without draining battery
  • Outdoor hot/cold shower to keep the kids (relatively) clean after playing outdoors all day
What have we added or upgraded?
  • We added an external Weber Q grill (as you know Weber is the best) for grilling outside
  • We added a black-tank flushout
  • 2 - 30 Gallon Propane Tanks instead of normal 20 gallon - lasts a whole summer
  • 2 batteries instead of 1 - run a lot longer between plug-ins
  • Anti-Sway hitch - this is a must if you're driving more than 50 miles
What other things made us buy it?
  • Aluminum Frame - lighter and stronger than wood frame which can rattle apart
  • Fiberglass Siding - looks nicer, and holds temp better than aluminum
  • Dual Axle - rides nicer
  • 28' box was large enough for our family without being so large it was difficult to tow
  • Starcraft is one of the only brands with a 2yr factory warranty - its well made!
  • Its an ultra-light - 5335 dry weight - towable with many V6 SUV's
  • Large water, grey, and black tanks - 48, 45, 22 respectively
I've included a video from a different (but almost identical) one online for perspective.
