We've had this rig two and a half years and loved every minute! We're ready to try a travel trailer now. Lots of great features. Just load up and you're ready to drive to the mountains with the 5.9 12 Valve Cummins Turbo Diesel engine with 228k miles. Pulls great. We towed a motorboat and climbed hills with no problem. On our last trip (August 2019) we got in 13 MPG. We traveled at highway speeds (70-75 MPH) at 2100 RPM. The fuel system has been tweaked by the previous owner. Everything under the hood is in a stock arrangement (no Banks system, cold air system, huge turbo, etc.). This unit passed Colorado Springs emissions in November 2019. Rear-wheel H.P. was measured @ 206 during the test. The transmission holds and shifts well. I have no reservations about driving this unit across country. We have spent two Colorado Christmases in this unit. The furnace works GREAT! We woke up sweating and had to turn it down. We used this unit to go to local lakes. The on-board generator was great for running the compressor to fill the paddleboard. The overall size of this unit was also great for getting around in parking lots. We are planning on an extended road trip and unfortunately, this rig just won't work for our plans. This unit is currently winterized but I can pressurize the water system with antifreeze for showings.
